Make a Volcano

In this experiment, we will learn how to make a baking soda volcano. The eruption in a baking soda volcano takes place by acid-base reaction. Here, Baking Soda is a base and vinegar is acid.

What you'll need:

• Modeling Clay

• Empty soda bottle

• 2 Table Spoons Baking Soda

• 200 ML Vinegar

• Food coloring (optional)

Instrucons

1. Place the empty soda bottle on a flat surface.

2. Make a volcano around empty bottle using modeling clay.

3. After making the volcano, put 2-3 table spoons of baking soda in bottle.

4. After that, carefully pour vinegar in the bottle. You can also add food coloring to vinegar.
